Who will run Salem in the coming DAYS?
DAYS spoilers promise a good, respectful mourning period for Victor. But then it’s time to figure out who will be moving in and taking his place as the mover and shaker, wheeler and dealer of Salem. Which lucky heir will assume the job?
DAYS Spoilers Speculation
Justin (Wally Kurth) will try, of course. Victor (John Aniston) may have several biological children, but they are either dead, in a coma, or in a mental institution. Fact is, Justin was more of a son to Victor than any of his sons or grandsons. Except Justin never liked how Uncle Vic did business. As a result, he may try to fill his shoes, but he’ll just keep tripping up.
DOOL Spoilers: The Wannabe
Xander (Paul Telfer) didn’t spend nearly as much time with his uncle as Justin did. But he did want to be like him. And he has done some Victor-worthy terrible things. There was murder. There was kidnapping. There was blackmail. Xander feels like a chip off the old block. Unfortunately, Victor never felt that way. And with a pregnant Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) poised to return to Salem and nag Xander into becoming a better man, he won’t have much of a chance to prove himself.

Justin, Xander, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), Brady (Eric Marstolf), Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Ciara (Victoria Konefal), Sonny, Claire, Rachel, Sarah’s baby…it doesn’t matter how many blood relatives Victor has or ever will have. No one will ever be Victor. So why should anyone even try?

Maybe a completely new Kiriakis will sweep into town. Someone who hasn’t been poisoned by the niceness that infects Salem. They won’t want to be a better man — or woman. They’ll want to fill the vacuum Victor left. And be very, very good at it.
