GH Spoilers: Nina Enlists Ava As Key Player In Her Latest Scheme

Nina (Cynthia Watros) can never sit still. Her mind probably simultaneously comes up with a million different ways to get her life back. Messing with Drew (Cameron Mathison, who talks Drew and Nina here) and Carly (Laura Wright) is always fun. But at the top of her list is reuniting with Sonny (Maurice Benard) as well as mending fences with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and getting to hang with Wiley (Viron Weaver). Being a wife, mom, and grandma is everything to her since she never had the chance to be those things before.
This is where Ava (Maura West) comes in. Nina seeks her bestie’s help. Since Ava’s roomies with Sonny, is she hoping Ava will help her find a way to talk to her husband? The husband that wasted no time in sending her divorce papers?
Rehiring and Reunion
Much like Nina, Sonny (Maurice Benard) turns to someone for help. He hires Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) for a job. This must mean he may need help finding out some delicate intel on one of his enemies. Since Spinelli is a tech whiz, it’s a good bet he’s on board. Especially if this freelance gig has to do with a certain person behind the recent mobster attacks: STONE.
Elsewhere, Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom surprises her with an early visit. Normally, no big deal, right? But Blaze has secrets she thinks she doesn’t want to see the light of day. And with her strict, Catholic mom around, it’s going to be difficult to keep the secret of her sexual orientation on the down low. Will Blaze and Natalia’s (Eva LaRue) reunion kick off successfully? Or will conflict rule their relationship?
Encouragement and Skepticism
Teasers suggest Curtis (Donnell Turner) is about to provide encouragement to Drew. Now is he going to be the angel or the devil on Drew’s shoulder? If this has to do with his whole Carly and Nina whiplash revenge/forget revenge situation he’s in, what does Curtis advise him to do? Take the high road and put Nina behind him? Or take the low road and put Nina and her scheming ways on blast? More importantly, will whatever he chooses threaten his relationship with Carly?
As for Carly, she apparently encounters John!Jagger (Adam J. Harrington). And she’s not feeling that great about it. In fact, she’s wary of John and the vibe he gives off. It wasn’t so long ago, her BS detector was broken because she felt nothing but good vibrations from Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure). She’s not about to make the same mistake twice.
