Todd and Julie Chrisley were millionaires who never lacked anything. But they committed tax fraud and are now in prison. The Chrisley Knows Best couple is serving a combined sentence of 19 years. And saying that it has been hell would be an understatement.
Julie and Todd didn’t have an easy time adjusting to prison life. They had to get used to the lack of proper facilities and prison food. But Todd chose to speak out against the poor living conditions. And now, prison authorities might be retaliating against him.
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Reveals Prison Officials Don’t Let Him In The Chapel
All the fans heard Todd speak out against pathetic living conditions in prison. He had revealed that the authorities didn’t take care of prisoners. The Chrisley Knows Best star went into great detail about the expired prison food and the moldy walls. Of course, the prison officials weren’t happy with his interview.
In his interview with Brian Entin, Todd revealed that the officials retaliated against him. He had spoken unfavorably about their arrangements. Now, they were out for revenge. Todd told Brian the officials had sent the priest out “in the middle of his service.”

According to Todd, the prison officials made the priest make Todd leave during the service. They did that so that Todd couldn’t pray. And when the officials heard about another upcoming interview, they tried to retaliate again. They wanted to conduct searches to ‘intimidate’ him. However, they didn’t find anything. And the Chrisley Knows Best star also told the officials he wouldn’t change what he was “going to say.”
The Chrisley Knows Best star has been adamant that the prison officials are trying to retaliate against him. And according to an insider, his family is worried about his safety. The insider also believed that the family has reasons to be scared. Apparently, many people have ‘concerns,’ but they don’t speak in “fear of what would happen.”
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Savannah’s Quest For Better Prison Living Conditions
Savannah and Todd have been very outspoken about prison living conditions. Todd also revealed in his interview that the conditions were cruel and pathetic. Even Savannah had tried to bring it up whenever possible.
However, an insider source claims that “(Savannah) isn’t helping on her part.” If anything, her arguments have made Todd’s life more difficult because prison officials are retaliating. Todd has been adamant about the officials’ retaliation. He claimed that the officials were talking about “humbing” him with “diesel therapy” and torture. But the prison officials have discarded such allegations. Todd’s family also worries for his safety because of all this.
