The whole Chrisley family is really sad that Todd and Julie are in prison. Savannah and the kids are upset about being unable to be with their parents. And even Julie and Todd hate being away from their family. The Chrisley Knows Best couple is in separate prisons. She recently celebrated her 51st birthday behind the bars. Savannah had visited her mom with the kids. And Julie had a nice day with her babies. But sadly, she could not talk to Todd!
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Had No Interaction On Julie’s Birthday
Even the star status has certain limitations in the prison world. Todd and Julie have been in prison since January 2023. Needless to say, the Chrisley Knows Best pair hates prison life. Unfortunately, they don’t have any other option than to endure it. Julie was also sad because she had to celebrate her 51st birthday in prison. But Savannah tried to celebrate the occasion by visiting her mother. And though Julie was happy to see Savannah and the kids, one thing made her sad. She couldn’t talk to Todd on her big day.
Todd and Julie are in separate prisons. Julie is in Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington, Kentucky. Meanwhile, Todd is in the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida. The pair can only talk to each other through a limited number of daily emails. But sadly, they could not talk to each other on Julie’s birthday.
The American Prison has a specific system of phone calls where prisoners can make calls but not receive them. So, while Julie is in prison, she can call another person on the outside through a monitored call. However, since prisoners can’t receive calls, Todd couldn’t talk to Julie.
Sadly, though Julie got to see her kids on her birthday, she couldn’t talk to Todd. They haven’t met each other since their incarceration in January 2023. One good thing did happen. Since prison doesn’t allow anyone to bring gifts for prisoners, Savannah found a substitute. Instead of a physical gift, Savannah deposited money in Julie’s commissary.

Julie and Todd have been staying in separate prisons. They were sad to be away from their family and their kids. Julie was even sadder as the star recently celebrated her 51st birthday but behind bars.
However, According to People reports, Julie’s daughter Savannah tried to make her mother’s big day special. The Chrisley Knows Best star took her younger siblings to visit their mom. She went to see Julie in Kentucky, as they allow contact visitations.
The prison handbook also states prisoners can have “normal parental contact with their children while visiting.” So Savannah was able to hug as well as kiss Julie at the beginning and the end of the visit. And as happy as Julie was to see her babies, she still hoped this would be the last birthday she had to spend in prison.
